Medicare Part A - Hospitals.png
Part A: Hospital Insurance

Medicare Part A helps cover inpatient hospital stays, skilled nursing facility care after a qualifying hospital visit, hospice care, and some limited home health services. Most people receive Part A without paying a monthly premium based on their work history.

Part A focuses on the services you receive when you are formally admitted to a facility. It forms one of the two core parts of Original Medicare.

Medicare Part B - Outpatient and Doctors.png
Part B: Medical Insurance

Medicare Part B covers doctor visits, outpatient care, preventive screenings, durable medical equipment, mental health services, and lab or diagnostic testing. Part B has a monthly premium set by Medicare each year.

People who delay enrolling could face a late enrollment penalty unless they qualify for a Special Enrollment Period. Together, Parts A and B make up Original Medicare.

Part C: Medicare Advantage

Medicare Part C, also called Medicare Advantage, is an alternative way to receive your Part A and Part B benefits through private insurance companies approved by Medicare. These plans usually include extra benefits such as dental, vision, and many include built-in prescription drug coverage.

Advantage plans use networks such as HMO or PPO and have an annual out of pocket limit that Original Medicare does not provide. You must still pay your Part B premium when enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan.

Medicare Part D - Standalone Drug Plans.png
Part D: Prescription Drug Coverage

Medicare Part D helps cover the cost of prescription medications. Plans are offered by private insurers approved by Medicare and vary in premiums, formularies, pharmacy networks, and cost sharing.

Enrolling in a Part D plan when first eligible helps you avoid late enrollment penalties. Part D coverage works alongside either Original Medicare or a Medicare Advantage plan that does not already include drug coverage.

Medicare Overview

Medicare has several parts that work together to provide healthcare coverage. Here is a brief explanataion of each.

About Us

At Kendall White & Associates, we believe insurance guidance should feel personal, trustworthy, and easy to understand. Our agency is a family-rooted advisory service built on relationships, integrity, and years of hands-on experience helping individuals, families, and retirees make informed healthcare decisions.

Kendall continues the work started by his uncle, David Williamson, whose passion was helping people navigate Medicare and the health insurance world with confidence. David built his reputation by treating clients like family, taking the time to educate, explain options clearly, and provide honest guidance without pressure. That same philosophy remains at the core of everything we do today.

We understand that choosing health coverage can feel overwhelming, especially with constantly changing plans, regulations, and costs. Our goal is to simplify the process and provide clear, personalized recommendations tailored to each client’s needs, budget, and long-term goals. Whether you are turning 65 and exploring Medicare for the first time, reviewing Marketplace coverage, evaluating supplemental plans, or helping your family find affordable protection, we are committed to being a reliable resource every step of the way.

What sets us apart is our commitment to service beyond enrollment. We believe our job is not finished once a policy is selected. We continue to assist clients with annual reviews, coverage questions, claims concerns, prescription cost evaluations, and ongoing plan guidance as healthcare needs evolve over time.

As an independent advisory service, we work to provide objective guidance and help clients compare options from a variety of respected insurance carriers. Our focus is always on finding the right fit for the individual, not a one-size-fits-all solution.

At the heart of our company is a simple mission: to help people feel informed, protected, and confident in their healthcare decisions while providing the kind of personal attention that has become increasingly rare in today’s insurance industry.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Reaching out begins with a simple conversation. Our team listens to your situation, reviews your current needs, and identifies what matters most for your coverage.

We then explain plan options and help you compare benefits and costs. The process is calm and pressure free. The goal is clarity and confidence, not a sales push.
